Special: JafferyGoodness on The Graham Norton Show?

10 January
Posted by: James

I've had a researcher for The Graham Norton Show (UK, BBC 2) email to say that "Graham is interested in the people of Great Britain for his new BBC chat show." And that means us!

"... Whether it's a quirky local event or pastime, extraordinary local news story, unusual local product or eccentric characters, we want to hear from you now! Send in your videos, pictures, hilarious local news headlines and especially products for Graham crafted by your own fair hand."

Specifically, if you want to create your own specially shaped Jaffa Cakes (perhaps adapting our Giant Jaffa Cakes recipe) they might get appear on the show! They could be an effigy of a celebrity (Graham perhaps?), an object that's special to you, basically anything!

As always, let us know what you're up to by posting in the forums, and don't forget to send in pictures of your creations for us to post here!

New Poll and Results of the Old

Brand new poll taoday, as requested on the forums.

Here are the results of the last one:

"Who makes the best Jaffa Cakes?"

With 87%, the clear winner was McVities, however, as was suggested by paulg, we forgot Tesco Value Jaffas, so perhaps a rematch is in order soon?

The runners-up were Jacobs with 6%, Sainsbury's with 1%, M&S with 1% and My Mum with 3%; Lidl recieved no votes whatsoever! There were 198 votes in all, so thanks everyone for voting!

For the sharp ones among you, yes, I know it only adds up to 98%, but I'm too lazy to try and work out why. Enjoy the new poll!

James.
